2008 WPPA Bowling Tournament
Hosted by the Dane County Deputy Sheriff’s Association

This tournament is open to all active and retired WPPA members, and non-WPPA members of law enforcement and related fields!

The annual WPPA Bowling Tournament will be held on April 5 and 6, 2008 at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes, 2121 E. Springs Drive, in Madison, Wisconsin (www.bowlavard.com). Bowl-A-Vard Lanes is a 40-lane facility with fully automatic scoring.

All entries must be postmarked by March 28, 2008. However, in order to ensure that your requests for specific bowling times are met, we ask that you return your completed registration forms as soon as possible.

Singles/Doubles/All Events will be held on Saturday, April 5, and the squad times are 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Team Event will be held on Sunday, April 6, and squad times are 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Team Event will consist of four (4) bowlers per team. Additional times are available if necessary. Times are subject to change.

All ABC and WIBC members and non-members may participate in a Moral Support sanctioned tournament with award recognition automatically extended to ABC and WIBC members. Eligible non-members may qualify for ABC and WIBC award recognition at their option by paying the respective fee for which the respective congress will issue an affiliate membership card. Times may be subject to change depending upon the number of entrants. Your bowling times will be confirmed prior to the tournament.

For all bowlers that do not have an ABC/WIBC average and bowled in the 2007 tournament, we will use your singles average, pursuant to recent rule changes of the WPPA Bowling Committee.

The Microtel Inn is within walking distance and the other hotels are within a one-mile radius of the bowling alley.
