Looking Ahead To Convention 2005
Building Your Support
Network
Please join us for the WPPA’s 73rd Annual Convention May 14-16, 2005 at the Kalahari Waterpark Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. You will not want to miss discussions on the WPPA’s top legislative priorities, network with your fellow WPPA members, and attend workshops that will prepare you for a leadership role. Plan to attend, voice your opinions, and become involved!
Convention Registration
Please complete the registration form on page 34 and forward it with payment to WPPA. Registration fees include the cost of convention materials, workshops, special events, food functions, and a convention gift. Only registered individuals may attend general sessions and workshops. Badges are required for all functions.
Individual Tickets
Tickets may be purchased separately for food functions, and reduced rates are available for children 11 years and younger. The Saturday night dinner includes entertainment by Magician David Parr.
Hotel
Delegates are responsible for making their own room reservations by calling the Kalahari Waterpark Resort and Convention Center at 608-254-5466 or 877-253-5466. Be sure to mention the WPPA Convention to receive our negotiated room rate of $89 per night for up to four people per room.
Hotel reservations must be made by April 13, 2005. After this date, all remaining rooms in the WPPA block will be released for sale to the general public and additional requests for rooms will be on a space available basis at the current transient rate. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. A deposit of one night plus tax is required at the time the reservation is made.
Please note: The negotiated room rates are ONLY for WPPA Convention attendees. If you are not registered to attend Convention 2005, you will be charged the going rate – NOT the WPPA rate.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
All registration fees are due at time of registration. Refunds requested up to and including May 9 will be assessed a $25 processing fee. After May 9, fees are transferable but non-refundable.
