Convention 2007 – Celebrating 75 Years Of Service
The WPPA’s 75th Anniversary Convention will be held May 19-21, 2007 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, one of the greatest vacation destinations in the United States.
The WPPA was formed in 1932 and its first convention was held in Racine. We have accomplished a lot since then, becoming Wisconsin’s largest law enforcement group and a prominent labor organization for public employees.
Early Workshops Offered
Our convention planning committee has put together an extraordinary event to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the WPPA. For the first time, we will offer workshops Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. for those early arrivers! Workshops will be offered throughout the convention on topics, such as: discipline; grievance handling; bargaining; and retirement and pensions.
