The WPPA Remembers Bob Pechanach

Robert 'Bob' Pechanach Jr.
Aug. 16, 1947 – June 28, 2010

Long-time WPPA Business Agent Bob Pechanach passed away on Monday, June 28, after a long battle with cancer. Bob began working for the WPPA in 1986, following a 17 year law enforcement career. Bob possessed an amazing ability to identify with the members he served and a disarming quality that enabled him to effectively represent our members in a wide variety of stressful and anxious situations. He will be missed by many, and the WPPA extends its warmest condolences with Bob's wife Cindy, his son Bob, and their entire family.

Robert "Bob" Pechanach Jr. of Colgate, formerly of Genesee, passed away at Angels-Grace Hospice on Monday, June 28, 2010, surrounded by family and friends at age 62. He was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 16, 1947, the son of Robert and Sophie (nee Vitas) Pechanach.

Bob served as a Milwaukee police officer for many years before retiring from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. Bob was the ultimate Wisconsin Badgers fan.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Cindy (nee Kubiak); son, Robert III "Bobby" and his wife, Erin, and their children, Alexander and Maja; and daughter, Angela, and her daughter, Olivia. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Marie (Bill) Radoszewski and Kathleen (Ken) Grenier; as well as many other relatives and friends. He also leaves behind two beloved furry friends, Josie and Oliver.

Please join the family for a celebration of his life from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Bob would be proud to see you wearing Badger red in his honor.
