WPPA State Pistol Shoot 2011
La Crosse Rifle Club to Host
The La Crosse Rifle Club invites you to join us for the 2011 WPPA State Pistol Shoot. The Shoot will take place on Monday, August 22, 2011, at the Club's rifle-pistol range on North Chipmunk Road in Stoddard, Wisconsin. Directions can be obtained from the website, lacrosserifleclub.com. There will be a traditional Pistol Match and an Action Shoot. Practice will be held on Sunday, August 21 from noon to 4:00 pm.
The Action Shoot will be set up as USPSA format and shooters will need to provide their own weapon and ammunition for this shoot. Body armor is encouraged for this match. The Pistol Match will follow the traditional slow/time/rapid format that has been used in the past. Distance will be 75 feet using the 25 yard Timed/Rapid target.
REGISTRATION
Registration fees for WPPA members (active or retired) will be $85.00 for the Pistol Match and an additional $10.00 for the Action Shoot. Non-WPPA members will be charged an additional $10.00. The registration fee includes the Sunday Smoker, Monday lunch and banquet. Guest tickets will be available for purchase. The registration deadline is August 8, 2011. Late registrations will be accepted but you are encouraged to register prior to August 8.
SMOKER AND AWARDS BANQUET
The Smoker will be held at the range on Sunday evening after the practice has closed. The Awards Banquet will be at the VFW Hall, 630 S. 6th St., La Crosse, Wisconsin.
