Welcome to the 30th Annual MPPA Musky Hunt

The Minocqua Professional Police Association will host the Musky Hunt on September 9-11, 2007. We are looking forward to seeing everyone this year.

This year’s entry fee is $100. As in the past, trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place, sportsman, and team winners. A boat motor will also be awarded to the first place winner, and a tremendous array of raffle prizes will be offered.

A Hawaiian Dress contest Sunday night and a Western Wear contest Tuesday night will replace the outrageous t-shirt contest!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Day One – Sunday, September 9

Mandatory sign-in for all contestants will be from 8:00 a.m. to noon at The Thirsty Whale. Tournament hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fish registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Thirsty Whale and Lakeside Landing. Dinner will follow at the Norwood Pines Supper Club. There will be free beer at 5:00 and dinner at 6:30, followed by the Hawaiian Dress contest and raffle.

Day Two – Monday, September 10

Tournament hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fish registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Thirsty Whale and Lakeside Landing will be open for lunch for all Musky Hunters. Albee’s Yacht Club will also have lunch specials. All are located on the water. Albee’s will also have a Monday Night Football Special, and you must wear your Musky Hunt Hat for both!!

Day Three – Tuesday, September 11

Tournament hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fish registration will officially close at 4:30 p.m. The Awards Banquet will be held at the Norwood Pines Supper Club. Appetizers will be served at 5:00 and dinner will follow at 6:30.
