SAVE THE DATE! – LOOKING AHEAD TO CONVENTION 2006
When you schedule your days off for 2006, don’t forget to schedule time to attend the WPPA’s 74th Annual Convention Saturday through Monday, May 20-22, 2006.
Host Hotel
The Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells will again be our host hotel. The Kalahari includes state of the art facilities, authentic African themes, America's Largest Indoor Waterpark, and a host of other amenities that combine to provide an unforgettable experience for you and your family. Every room includes the following amenities: hair dryer, telephone, parson's table and chairs, microwave, refrigerator, ironing board and iron, coffee maker, in-room safe, 27" television, Internet access availability, and room service.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Kalahari at a rate of $89 per night, for up to four people per room. A limited number of two-room family suites (for up to six people) have been reserved at a special rate of $189 per night. Please remember, the negotiated room rates are only for convention attendees. If you do not register to attend Convention 2006, you will be charged the going rate — not the WPPA rate.

Opportunities to Sponsor or be Sponsored
If you are from a small local (less than 50 members) and would like to be sponsored to attend the WPPA’s Annual Convention in 2006, please write to Scott Favour, President, Madison Professional Police Officers Association, P. O. Box 1188, Madison, WI 53701. In your letter, state whether you have ever attended the WPPA Annual Convention and why you would like to attend.
