The WPPA Endorses Genrich for State Assembly
The WPPA announced today its endorsement of Eric Genrich in his campaign to represent the 90th State Assembly District. The WPPA's board of directors, which is comprised of elected active law enforcement officers from all across the state, overwhelmingly chose to support Genrich after closely evaluating the candidates and their responses to a questionnaire on the issues that matter to Wisconsin's law enforcement community. Genrich returned a questionnaire and his opponent did not. The race to fill this legislative seat will be decided in the November 6 election.
"With his considerable experience working on both state and federal legislative issues, Eric Genrich clearly understands and appreciates the challenges confronting Wisconsin and its law enforcement community," said WPPA Executive Director Jim Palmer. "Eric Genrich will be able to hit the ground on day one, and we are confident that he will work to protect and promote public safety, and to otherwise represent the 90th State Assembly District with the integrity and accessibility that the legislature sorely needs."
With over 10,000 members from nearly 400 local association affiliates, the WPPA is the state's largest law enforcement group.
